High Pressure Booster Pump
The air driven high pressure booster pump is the basic and core component in high pressure equipment. And the air powered high pressure pump utilizes the area ratio of the large piston and small piston to generate a pressure ratio, so as to pressurize and transfer fluids. Specially, the high pressure pump consists of two sections: The air drive cylinder with a large piston inside and high-pressure cylinder with a small piston inside, with a shaft connecting the two pistons. Under the action of a pneumatic shuttle valve, the compressed air pushes the large piston to reciprocate, and the small piston reciprocates synchronously. According to Pascal’s law, the drive air pressure multiplied by the large piston area is equal to the high-pressure cylinder internal pressure multiplied by the small piston area. Thereby, the gas or liquid medium entering the high-pressure cylinder will be continuously compressed by the small piston, thus obtaining high pressure until it is discharged.
