The air driven gas booster that had been working normally suddenly stops working, what is the reason and How to fix it?

As well known that the gas booster is driven by compressed air. If your normally working air driven gas booster suddenly fails, and the specific symptoms are that the pistons inside the gas booster cannot reciprocate, and the gas booster cannot output high-pressure gas any longer. In this case, it can be basically determined that the shuttle valve of the gas booster is blocked even damaged, causing the gas booster to fail to work. The compressed air output by the air compressor contains fine dust and impurities. During the long-term use of the gas booster, these dust and impurities enter the shuttle valve of the gas booster pump with the compressed air, and will adhere to the shuttle valve over time, blocking the holes of the shuttle valve, causing the shuttle valve to fail to reverse normally.
The solution is as follows. Firstly take out the shuttle valve core from gas booster. There are multiple seal rings on the shuttle valve, check whether the seal rings are worn. If the seal ring has no abnormal wear, just need to clean the dust off. If there is abnormal wear, replace new seal rings. There are many holes of different sizes on the shuttle valve body. Use an air gun to clean the shuttle valve thoroughly. Finally, apply grease to the shuttle valve core and then install it back to the gas booster. In this way, the gas booster can resume running.
In order to extend the service life of your gas booster, it is recommended to add an air filter on your air supply line, which can effectively filter the debris and moisture in compressed air supply.
