Gas Assisted Injection Booster for Carbon Dioxide Foaming

The gas assisted injection booster is a high pressure gas booster injection station for carbon dioxide foaming. Carbon dioxide high pressure physical foaming, also called supercritical carbon dioxide foaming, is widely used in E-TPU shoe material foaming production, insulated cable extrusion foaming injection molding, microcellular foaming and other fields.
The gas injection booster integrates the two functions of carbon dioxide pressurization and precise injection of high-pressure carbon dioxide. Specifically, the carbon dioxide injection booster can pressurize carbon dioxide to the supercritical state, and then accurately deliver it to reactors, plastic injection molding machines or extrusion machines.

Carbon Dioxide Injection Booster Operating Principle

The carbon dioxide injection booster station consists of carbon dioxide booster pump, buffer tank, digital pressure controller, pressure reducing valve and control kit. And it works like this. Firstly pressurize carbon dioxide to high pressure. Then store the pressurized carbon dioxide in the gas buffer tank to eliminate gas pressure pulsation. Subsequently reduce the high-pressure gas to the required pressure by adjusting the pressure reducing valve, thus obtaining precise and stable high-pressure carbon dioxide supply.
