Gas Transfer Pump Helps You Fill Gas Efficiently

Gas transfer pump is essentially a gas booster pump, which uses pressure differential to achieve transfer gas and filling gas. To transfer gas from one cylinder to other cylinder, if the two gas cylinders are directly connected to allow the gas to flow freely from the full cylinder to the empty cylinder, the gas will not be able to flow when the pressures of the two cylinders are equal. If you use this method to transfer and fill gas, there will be a lot of gas remaining in the source cylinder, causing economic waste. Strictly speaking, this direct gas transfer method violates safety operating regulations.

So how do you safely and conveniently transfer and fill gas? A gas booster transfer pump can help you efficiently fill gas. It can compress and pressurize gas to form a pressure difference, so as to transfer and fill gas. To be specific, it can suction gas from the source gas cylinder, and then increase the gas pressure by compressing, and finally inject the pressurized gas into the receiver gas cylinder.

Gas Booster Transfer Pump Features

  1. Explosion-proof and compatible with most gases. The gas booster pump is driven by compressed air, eliminating the risk of electric sparks igniting the gas, so it is particularly suitable for filling flammable gases such as oxygen, CNG, hydrogen, methane.
  2. Efficiently transfer gas to avoid gas waste. The minimum suction pressure of the gas booster pump is as low as 0.1bar, that is, as long as the gas in the source cylinder is higher than 0.1bar, the gas booster pump can suction the gas and complete the gas compressing and gas transfer.
  3. The maximum output pressure is up to 80MPa, and the output pressure is adjustable.
  4.  Automatically stop filling at any preset pressure to avoid gas excessive filling.

How to Transfer and Fill Gas

First of all, connect source gas cylinder, receiver gas cylinder and air compressor onto the gas inlet, gas outlet and drive air inlet of the gas booster transfer pump respectively. Then set an gas filling pressure by adjusting the air regulator. Now the gas booster pump will automatically suction gas, compress gas, transfer and fill gas. And it will automatically stop when your preset pressure is reached. At this time, the receiver gas cylinder is filled with gas at the pressure you require.
