DME butane booster injection station is the high pressure DEM and butane injection system for EPE foam extrusion molding.
In the plastic extrusion molding, physical foaming is a key process. DEM, butane and propane are suitable as foaming agents for physical foaming. The high pressure DME butane injection helps you boost butane, propane and DEM to high pressure, and then inject it into the extrusion molding machine.
Take the production of EPE fruit and vegetable foam net sleeves as an example. In EPE foam extrusion molding, the commonly used foaming agent is butane. When high-pressure liquid butane is injected into the plastic melt, the butane will vaporize instantly, causing the plastic melt to form a large number of bubbles, thereby generating a light and porous material. After extrusion molding, fruit and vegetable foaming mesh sleeves or other foamed plastic products can be produced.
The butane booster injection station uses compressed air as power, without the risk of electric sparks. Therefore, it is explosion-proof and perfectly overcomes the flammable characteristics of butane.


The high pressure butane booster injection station consists of butane booster pump, storage tank, pressure reducing valve and control kit. Here’s how it works. First of all, compress and pressurize butane to high pressure. And then store it in the storage tank which can eliminate the pressure pulsation of high-pressure butane. When you need to inject butane, just need to adjust the pressure reducing valve, then you will obtain stable high-pressure liquid butane at your required pressure.
