Air Operated DME Propane Butane Booster Transfer Pump

The air operated DME propane butane pump is explosion proof and can safely pressurize, transfer and fill DEM, propane, butane and other low-pressure liquefied gases in hazardous area. It uses compressed air as power source, which eliminates the risk of electric sparks and perfectly overcomes the flammability of butane and propane.
The air operated butane propane pump utilizes the pressure differential to achieve delivery and injecting butane and propane. And it can suction butane and propane and then pressurize up to 32 Bar by compression. Double-acting design makes the air driven propane butane pump has the advantages of stable operation, large output flow, small pressure pulsation. 
The output pressure of pneumatic propane butane pump is equal to the drive air pressure multiplied by the boost ratio. The boost ratio is fixed, so the pump discharge pressure is directly proportional to the drive air pressure. Therefore, just need to adjust the drive air pressure, the propane butane pump output pressure will be adjusted accordingly.

Air Driven Propane Butane Pump Functions

  1. Pressurize and inject DME, butane for physical foaming such as EPE XPS foamed extrusion molding.
  2. Transfer and fill butane or propane from source to tank.
  3. Recover butane and butane vapor from storage tanks.
  4. Serve as the butane extraction pump or propane extraction pump.

Propane Butane Booster Injection System

Both propane and butane can be used as foaming agents for physical foaming. In order to facilitate users to inject butane or propane for physical foaming, we have built the propane butane booster injection station. It can pressurize butane or propane up to 32Bar, and then stably inject it into the reactor or extrusion molding machine.

In order to facilitate users to transfer and charge propane and butane, we built the propane butane delivery charging unit which integrates air operated liquid gas pump, FRL unit, pressure gauges, manual valves, isolation valve, treaded connections and other high pressure fittings into a skid. Thereby, it is easy to move and operate.
