Air Operated Glycol Methanol Chemical Injection Skid

The chemical injection skid is a self-contained high pressure chemical booster injection system. It is suitable to inject diverse chemical such as ethylene glycol, methanol, biocides, preservatives, oxygen scavengers, hydrogen sulfide scavengers, drilling fluid additives into petroleum wellhead, oil pipelines or process piping, so as to unblock and thaw them. Beyond that, the chemical injection system is also suitable to deliver reaction materials to high-pressure reactors or load chemical solvents into Liquid chromatography columns.
Driven by shop air or compressed nitrogen, the high pressure chemical injection unit does not require electric power, no electric sparks risk. Thereby, it is explosion-proof and safely used in hazardous areas such as laboratories, petroleum pipelines, oil wells, gas wells, chemical plants.
The chemical injection skid consists of high-pressure chemical injection pump, pressure gauges, manual valves, isolation valve, air regulator, and most of which are made of 316L stainless steel, so as to effectively prevent chemical corrosion. Moreover, flow meter, throttle valve and relief valve are optional to add. Dual chemical pumps can be connected in parallel, one for use and one for standby, so as to prevent accidental interruption during chemicals injection.

How to Operate Chemical Injection Skid

The chemical injection skid uses compressed air as driving power, and can boost chemical up to 320MPa. If shop air is not available on site, you could use a pressurized nitrogen cylinder to power it. Just need to preset your desired pressure by adjusting air regulator, the chemical injection unit will suction, pressurize chemical and then output high-pressure chemical. And the chemical injection unit will stop and stand by automatically when reaching your preset pressure.

There are two chemical booster injection pumps built in chemical injection station. And it has two operating modes:
1. Two chemical injection pumps run at the same time to output more high-pressure chemical flow, which means faster chemical injection speed.

2. Two chemical booster pumps run in shifts, which not only prevent unexpected interruptions during chemical injection, but also extend service life of the entire device.
