The multiphase carbon dioxide booster is a gas-liquid dual-use carbon dioxide pump. It can handle both carbon dioxide gas and liquefied carbon dioxide, and then output high-pressure liquefied carbon dioxide up to 80MPa. In other words, CO2 booster utilizes pressurizing Co2 to prevent any undesirable gas-liquid phase transition, thus ensuring Co2 always remains liquid state during transfer and filling process. In addition, the multiphase carbon dioxide booster pump is able to recycle low-pressure carbon dioxide gas and vapor from storage tanks or gas cylinders. The high pressure carbon dioxide pump uses compressed air as its driving power, and its discharge pressure is always proportional to the drive air pressure. Therefore, if adjust the drive air pressure, Co2 booster discharge pressure will change accordingly.

How to Choose Carbon Dioxide Boosters

If your Co2 comes from a cryogenic tank, Liquid Co2 booster is suitable for you as it is specially designed to handle liquid Co2. But if your Co2 comes from a steel cylinder which stores gas-liquid mixed Co2. While liquid Co2 booster can suction liquid Co2 only, which means Co2 gas in the steel cylinder will be wasted. Therefore, multiphase Co2 booster is more suitable for you, as it can handle both gaseous and liquid carbon dioxide.
