The cylinder valve airtight leak detector is a gas cylinder head valve tightness leak test machine. And it is can test the tightness performance and pressure resistance of the gas cylinder head valve. The cylinder valve leak detection machine uses air or nitrogen as test medium and is applicable to leak detection of various gas cylinder head valves such as gas cylinder valves, LPG cylinder valves and fire extinguisher cylinder valves.
The gas cylinder head valve test machine consists of gas booster, pressure control unit, water tank, liftable tray, valve tooling fixture and high pressure fittings. And the built-in gas booster pump can generate and output high pressure gas of 80MPa maximum. The valve tooling fixture locates the bottom of the liftable tray, and it is used to fix and seal the cylinder valve before testing. Driven by a pneumatic cylinder, the liftable tray can easily immerse the cylinder valve into the water tank before pressure testing.
After the pressure testing starts, the cylinder valve leak detector will inject air or nitrogen at your required pressure into the cylinder valve and then maintain the pressure. After the pressure maintenance period, you could visually check whether the cylinder valve leaks through bubbling method. Of course, you could use the pressure drop method to indirectly determine whether the cylinder valve leaks.

The basic operation steps of the cylinder valve tightness leak tester are as following. First of all, pressurize gas to your required pressure and inject it into the cylinder valve. Then maintain the pressure, and finally determine the cylinder valve whether leak trough bubbling method or pressure-drop method. The specific operation steps are as follows:
1. Fill clean water into the bath tub (water tank) built in the cylinder valve detector.
2. Place the cylinder valve on the liftable tray and tighten it. The machine can test up to four cylinder valves at the same time.
3. Use the pneumatic cylinder to immerse the liftable tray together with the cylinder valve in the water tank.
4. Preset a testing pressure on the machine. Then the cylinder valve leak tester starts to inject the gas of your desired pressure into the cylinder valve. And the machine will automatically stop and maintain the pressure when reaching your preset pressure.
5. Observe the water tank and visually check whether there are any bubbles. If there are no bubbles, it proves the cylinder valve tightness qualified, otherwise unqualified.
