Both GBD series and GBH series gas compression filling pump are double acting gas boosters. They can can efficiently compress and pressurize gas to 160MPa maximum, and then transfer and charge the pressurized gas into gas cylinders.
The double acting gas booster pump has the advantages of explosion-proof and large output flow. So it often serves as a gas compression filling pump. Thus, it is especially suitable to transfer and charge most industrial gases including flammable gases, explosive gases and corrosive gases in gas plants, laboratories and hazardous areas.
Compared with GBD series, GBH series gas booster pump is equipped with two air drive pistons, so its output gas flow is 1.6 times that of GBD series under the same conditions. If you require larger high-pressure gas flow at the same outlet pressure, GBH series gas booster is your good choice.

Double Acting Gas Booster Operation Principle

The double-acting gas booster has two high-pressure sections, that is, two gas compression cylinders. So it can continuously suction gas, compress gas and output high-pressure gas in a complete piston reciprocating stroke. Therefore, the double acting gas booster pump has the benefits of smooth operation, little pressure pulsation and large output flow. In addition, the double acting gas booster pump is equipped with the self-cooling system, which can quickly dissipate the heat generated by gas compression to the atmosphere.

How to Operate Gas Compression Filling Pump

The gas compressor pump discharge pressure is proportional to the driving air pressure. So if adjust the drive air pressure, the gas pump discharge pressure will be adjusted accordingly. Just need to add an air regulator and pressure gauge, a basic gas compression charging system is ready.
