The high-pressure hydraulic tube expander, as known as copper tube expander or aluminum tube expander, is an innovative tube expanding machine that is different from traditional mechanical tubes expansion. The hydraulic tube expanding machine uses water or hydraulic oil as the working medium and hydraulic power as tube expanding power. It exerts uniform hydraulic pressure to the inner surface of the tube to cause plastic deformation of the tube, so as to achieve the tube to fins joint and tube to tube-sheet joint. Therefore, the high pressure hydraulic tube expansion process is also called flexible tube expansion joint.
The pneumatically drive hydraulic tube expander is specially designed for finned tube heat exchangers such as radiators, condensers, evaporators and intercoolers. It can eliminate the gap between tubes, tube-sheets and cooling fins through one-piece tube expansion, so as to achieve interference fit and prevent loosening. In other words, the hydraulic aluminum copper tube expanding machine can fix the tube to the tube sheets and fins tightly through hydraulic expanding tube. The tube expansion machine is suitable for stainless steel tubes, copper tubes, aluminum tubes without restrictions on length and shape. And the tube deformation can reach 0.3mm to 1.2mm after expansion.
The high pressure tube expanding machine uses compressed air as power. And it consists of two parts: hydraulic power console and collet tooling. First of all, use two collets to block and seal both ends of the tube to be expanded. And then the tube expanding machine will generate high-pressure hydraulic flow and inject it into the tube, thereby completing tube-to-fines expansion joint. Just need to preset parameters such as tube expansion pressure and expansion duration on the touch screen, the whole tube expanding process will be executed by PLC module automatically.
