H2 Hydrogen Pressure Booster Compressor Station

The hydrogen pressure booster compressor station is an air operated hydrogen booster. It utilizes compressed air as its driving power, no requiring electric power, thus explosion proof. Therefore, the hydrogen booster can safely compress and boost hydrogen up to 80MPa in hazardous area. In addition, it is also suitable to recycle, transfer and refuel hydrogen. In response to the flammable and explosive characteristics of hydrogen gas, we have carried out oil-free compression, degreasing and anti-explosion modifications on the basis of ordinary gas boosters, thus fully meeting the explosion prevention requirements. The details are as follows.
1. The high-pressure cylinder of hydrogen booster pump is made of stainless-steel, which has excellent heat dissipation performance and can withstand high pressure.
2. Oil-free compression is adopted, and all components have been degreased.
3. The air driving cylinder and high-pressure cylinder are isolated from each other, and triple seals built-in to prevent hydrogen leaking.

How Hydrogen Booster Cool High-pressure Hydrogen Inside?

As well known, hydrogen gas will heat up during compression. For this reason, our hydrogen booster pump comes with a self-cooling module which works like this. When hydrogen booster is working, the exhaust air flows through cooling-jacket and intercooler, takes away the heat and discharges it to the atmosphere via muffler, thus cooling hydrogen booster and high-pressure hydrogen inside. To further cool high-pressure hydrogen, an external high-pressure gas cooler can be installed. It works like this: the high-temperature pressurized hydrogen and low-temperature exhaust air discharged from the hydrogen booster pump flow through the gas cooler simultaneously. So the exhaust air will quickly absorb the heat of the pressurized hydrogen and release the heat to the atmosphere.
